Victoria Falls
Mist from the waterfalls can be seen more than 20 kilometres away and the thundering roar can be heard long before the falls can be seen. The spray from the thundering water is partly responsible for sustaining the "rainforest" opposite the falls

Okavango Waterways
The water of the Okavango floats on fine yellow Kalahari sand and is so clear and clean because it is constantly being filtered by dense reed beds and papyrus thickets. These plants act as a sieve and remove sediment and purify the water.
