What you can expect from this 7 day Buffalo Trail safari tour:

This Africa safari tour starts in Maun, ends in Victoria Falls and passes through some of the best wilderness areas in Botswana. Spend 3 nights at the Moremi Game Reserve and 2 nights at Chobe Game Reserve.

While searching for a variety of animals and birds in the reserve, absorb the sounds and beauty of this region. It is required that you spend a pre-night in Maun if joining a group departure, due to the early departure to Moremi Game Reserve on day one.

Days 1 - 3: Moremi Game Reserve, Botswana

You will meet at a pre-arranged point in Maun to begin your Africa safari tour, which will be advised upon booking. You will then drive through to Moremi Game Reserve, one of the best wilderness areas of Botswana.

The park covers swamp areas as well as dry land. The next 3 nights of your Africa safari tour are spent in this park searching for the wide variety of animals and birds in the reserve, while absorbing the sounds and beauty of this region.

Game drives as the sun rises, and in the late afternoon as the sun sets, are the norm on your Africa safari tour. You will return to camp for lunch and a siesta, usually you will move campsites to explore a different area of this diverse park. Camping will be in private designated campsites where you will erect bush ablutions. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Days 4 - 5: Chobe National Park, Botswana

Chobe National Park, with its diverse and striking landscapes, is your next destination. As you continue your search for wildlife on your Africa safari tour, you will traverse the drier region of Savuti where Bull Elephants dot the plains.

You will then head northwards to the Chobe River, where your game drives will meander along the banks of the river, followed by the call of the majestic African Fish Eagle. Camping will be in private designated areas with bush ablutions. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Days 6 - 7: Livingstone, Zambia

You will cross the Zambezi River by ferry, then drive to Livingstone on the Zambian side of the Victoria Falls, where you will stay overnight at the Zambezi Waterfront. This afternoon there is time to visit the thunderous Victoria Falls and shop for curios. Dinner is at your own expense at the lodge.

This Africa safari tour officially ends at 10:00am on Day 7. Post tour accommodation, activities and transfers to Livingstone, Victoria Falls or Kasane airports can be arranged at additional cost.

There are many exciting activities offered at the Falls, such as the exhilarating white water rafting down the Zambezi Gorge, canoeing on the upper Zambezi, Elephant rides and Helicopter Flights over the Falls. On day 6 of your Africa safari tour, breakfast and lunch are included. On day 7 breakfast will only be served.
