7 day Okavango Trail, Botswana

Day 1: Maun, Botswana

The most southern tip of the Okavango Delta will be your re-supply before entering the game reserves on safari for the next few days. You make your final preparations for your safari and have the opportunity to take a scenic flight over the Okavango and its many waterways. Breakfast and lunch included. Tented Camp Accommodation.

Days 2 & 3: Moremi, Botswana

Moremi Game Reserve is one of the best reserves in Africa. The natural beauty and abundance of wildlife, bird life, insects, reptiles and flora will astonish you. Your tented camp will be made for 2 days and the safari drives and game viewing will be done in and around the areas of your base camp. 

You will also pay a visit to the local community within this area and exchange thoughts and experiences. The low volume policy in Botswana parks will allow for uninterrupted game viewing. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included. Tented Camp Accommodation.

Days 4 & 5: Savuti, Botswana

The Chobe National Park is one of the larger wildlife areas in southern Africa. The scenic drive from Moremi to Savuti camp will take you through more Kalahari vegetation along the Kwai River and sand ridges.

The 4x4 roads makes this day an adventure in itself and will be a full day travelling and admiring the Chobe National Park. Your base camp will be in the Savuti for the next 2 days in search of the well-known Savuti Lion. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included. Tented Camp Accommodation.

Day 6: Chobe / Kasane: Chobe Safari Lodge, Botswana

The safari takes you to the border of Botswana where 4 countries meet. The Chobe Floodplains at Kasane allows for an excellent boat trip and will bring a relief after leaving the dry Savuti channel behind. Your stay in Kasane will be at the Chobe Safari Lodge where you can enjoy one of the best sundowners of your safari.

Day 7: Livingstone, Zambia

Finally you follow the footsteps of David Livingstone to Zambia. Your visit to the Victoria Falls and the memorable Zambezi River will add a value of respect and admiration to your safari trail. The next 2 days are spent relaxing, visiting local markets and preparing for final arrangements for your long departure home.

Your safari will end on arrival in Livingstone. However, your guides will overnight one day, before departing on the next journey. All clients have paid accommodation inclusive for 2 days in Livingstone to explore at leisure the many hidden treasures of this bustling Zambian gateway. Breakfast included. Lodge Accommodation.
