Day 2: Okavango Area of Moremi, BotswanaThe reserve is situated in the north eastern corner of the Okavango Delta. Its is a pure wilderness area of great beauty, rich green vegetation, Palm trees, teeming with bird life and a vast population of animals. You spend your time exploring the area on game drives and you travel on your 5 day Classic Okavango Safari tour into the heart of the Delta on a boat exploration cruise. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. |
Days 3 & 4: Moremi Wildlife Reserve - Khwai Plains, BotswanaAfter breakfast, you travel on your Classic Okavango Safari tour to the Khwai floodplains, exploring the area on the way. Your camp is set up on another remote part of the reserve. You enjoy early morning and late afternoon game drives uncovering the secrets of this wilderness area. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. |
Day 5: Moremi - Maun, BotswanaAfter breakfast, you return to Maun at +/- 2pm and have lunch at the local restaurant (own expense). You transfer to the airport to board your onward flight. Breakfast. Visit the famous Victoria Falls – one of the natural wonders of the world. Fly from Maun to Kasane, with a road transfer to either Livingstone (Zambia) or Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe). Lions are opportunistic hunters and will kill and feed on just about any animal. They prey mostly on large mammals such as Wildebeest, Springbok, Impala and Zebra. They also prey on Buffalo and Hippo.
